June 2007

Let’s see. What a busy few weeks and there is no stopping now. Here are some highlights:

Tiffany’s mom Starr visited with us the week of Memorial Day. She was a pleasure to have – a very funny and warm person. Joey and Starr hit it off right away and Libby needed a hug from her each morning before leaving for the sitter.

5/29 Jake and Tiffany graduated (hooray!!) and we went to celebrate at Double Eagle. Kay, Mom, Larry, Gina, Brian, Tiff (Brian’s), Starr, Matt, Joe, Tiffany, Jake, and I had pizza, good conversation, and a lot of laughs. Libby was with us and was a bit hyper at the restaurant.

6/3 Baby arrives. Jake and Tiffany headed to the hospital a little after 6am and before noon, we met baby Sebashton. Tiffany was denied the pleasure of a pain-free epidural labor. She was exhausted and Jake was sick to his stomach being unable to comfort her during the process. Then this beautiful little life entered our world. I don’t think Tiffany or Jacob could love him any more and for that I am so proud of them.

6/4 Baby comes for his first visit to Grams house, then goes home.

6/5 Renae, Jim, and Collin arrive.

6/6 Mom and I (with Libby) go get Grandma and Rod from airport. We have to remember that Grandma’s flights come in on the tarmac and therefore downstairs at the terminal because yet again there was an escort for her but the flight attendant walked her to the main area!! Mom had to call Rod who was still waiting for Grandma when she was with us!

Scott and Gina hosted a wonderful barbeque. It was so nice to have the gang all together. Grandma Hoerle Grandma Delsey (now Great Great Grandmothers), along with all of my brothers and sisters and their troops, Mom, Dad, Larry… It was noisy but it was nice!

6/7 Shopping for a dress for the wedding with Grandma. She set me up with something I’d never have picked for myself but was so glad I got it! Then we went to a picnic at the park and exhausted the kids. Tornado watches were in effect but the sky was pretty clear. I kept looking, believe me! (Scardy cat)

6/8 Rehearsal Dinner and decorating in the tent.

6/9 Congratulations Brian and Tiff. What a beautiful bride and groom! What a perfect day for your wedding. I can’t wait to see the video. I hope not to have made a fool of myself on that dance floor since I might have had one too many glasses of Pinot Grigio! (Ha!)

6/10 Cleanup at the mansion in the morning (Kay had Libby and so I only had until 12 or so when they returned from church) and then leftovers at Mom’s for lunch. Grandma and Bruno left :o( . Dad drove Rod and his beautiful Jennifer to the airport :o(

6/11 Gina’s in the morning and then Renae and crew left for their plane at 1pm. :o( I hate when they leave. We found out that Brian and Tiff missed the cutoff for their international flight! They told Avery they would visit Dora while in Mexico. Ha!

6/12 I attempted to get caught up on housework and laundry and bills. I was away every day but my family was not so there was plenty to do. I miss everyone already.

Coming soon
Fathers Day, Jake and Tiffany’s Birthday/ Graduation / Welcome Sebashton Party…That should take us through the week of the 4th. Lots of pics below so enjoy. Love to all…..
