Happy New Year everyone. I cannot believe that the holidays are over. Where does the time go?
Our holidays were spent as they are usually, Christmas Eve at Gina’s, Christmas at Laura’s, and then Christmas with Dad at his house on 1/6. It sure is fun to have a little one around again but I also missed having Josh and Dani. I finally did get pictures from Dad but it is now my turn to sit on the CD I guess. I really need to get that to Josh and Dani as soon as possible!
Libby is starting to talk and increasing / improving her vocabulary all the time. Most recently, Elmo went from “mobo” to “elbow” so she is catching on. She for the whole time the tree was up called it “no” as that is usually what we told her when she approached or touched it. Ha! She usually loves giving out kisses and hugs, especially when saying goodbye to someone. She loves to write with those Elmo soap crayons Gina, but you have to make sure you clean them up right away or they stain the grout!!! She loves to jump around too and enjoyed Avery’s dance program last month and Nikki’s dance competition earlier this month. (Nikki = Joey’s girlfriend).
Tiffany stayed with her mom and sisters during Christmas week in Idaho. Jake meant to surprise her with a kitty upon her return, but he spoiled the surprise. My recollection of Tiffany’s account is as follows:
Tiffany “What is that meowing?”
Jake “It’s Pussums.” (who never meows and I call Peanut)
Tiffany Hmmm.
Next conversation
Jake “Tiffany, if you did have a new kitten, what would you name her?”
Tiffany “I don’t know, what color is she?”
Jake “She’s black”
Tiffany “Did you get me a kitten?”
Jake “No, no, this is hypothetical”
Tiffany “Okay, love you, bye”
Tiffany “Hey everyone I got a black kitten from Jacob!!!”
Her first OB appointment is tomorrow 1/17 so we’ll see what they say. My guess is that she is further along than we think.
Joey is still with Nikki and still on restriction. He has to earn visits either by working or babysitting. Other than that they are on the phone every morning at 5:30 or so and every evening to say goodnight to eachother. Teenagers.

Mom, Gina, and I went to see "The pursuit of Happyness" (I am not misspelling the title) and it was fun. We want to see "Dreamgirls" though and also "Reign over me". We should do this more often. I hope we get to.
Matt and I celebrated 21 years last week. He had 2 dozen red roses delivered to my workplace. They are gorgeous and I was the envy of the office for the day! The kids cooked dinner for us and we had polish sausage, bratwurst, Italian sausage, perogies, saurkraut, and green beans for dinner. I know. That's alot of meat. We were supposed to go to a nice dinner last weekend but we did not make it out.
Matt and I also both switched jobs recently but this text is long enough. I’ll have to talk about that next time.
