May Update
I got alot of yardwork done. I have much more to do though, since I did not do much gardening last year (it was hard to bend). I included pictures below. I'm not done edging and mulching yet but that will be another weekend I suppose.
We took Libby, Joey, and his girlfriend Nicki to the Racine Zoo on Monday for a little bit. I must say as far as Libby goes, she would have enjoyed a walk in the mall just as much. She was more interested in the people than the animals. She did talk to a little black potbelly piglet though. That was cute. There was a cool breeze since the zoo is next to Lake Michigan so it turned out very nice. We plan on going back some more this summer.
Oh, also below you can see the puppies. They are not as bad as I thought and are already quite trained. They even come when you call so I think they're pretty smart. They are still troublemakers though and will chew things if you leave them out. The boys have been pretty responsible though and have nearly completely taken care of them. Hopefully this will last.
Can't wait to see most of you on the 4th of July!

Prince Ethan and Lady Elizabeth
Thursday, May 04, 2006
Well it has been a long time between posts. I can’t remember everything from March but April has been pretty eventful.
Happy Birthday Rod 3/1!
Welcome baby Alexis (my old and dear friend Cori’s brand new baby girl) 3/17
Libby started crawling 4/12 … goodbye peace-time as now we have to watch your every move!
Libby at some point in April also decided to start waking again throughout the night. I thought it was from an upset tummy at first after introducing meat in her diet but that does not seem to be the case. She is quite accustomed now to nightwaking….goodbye sleep!
Joshua moved to Utah 4/13
Happy Easter 4/16 and God’s peace to all.
Joey was kicked out of his band at some point in April because he kept getting grounded and missing practices.
Brian proprosed to Tiffany in Mexico on their vacation. Very sweet and very romantic. Congratulations you two… I am so happy my brother found such a wonderful gal to have for his bride. And as we all know, I am quite choosy about the girlfriends of the men in my life.
As far as May goes, it has been quite busy between work and home and baby. Jacob is going to Prom this Saturday with his girlfriend of about 8 months – Tiffany. I will post pics as soon as they are available.
Can you believe Ethan will be turning 1 also on Saturday? Where has this year gone?!! I look forward to spending time with family at Gina’s this weekend. It has been weeks if not months since I’ve seen some of you.
I am also looking forward to spending the 4th of July in Pittsburgh and Columbus. This will be our first family vacation less Joshua :o( … we probably wont see him until fall.
Love to all….Lisa
